These years are crucial for children to begin develop basic skills in all areas from their social skills, cognition, problem solving, and of course their physical literacy! Many children begin to develop their hobbies and pastimes in this stage of life so it is our job to show them how fun movement can be and equip them with the skills to be able to carry out an active lifestyle.
A variety of movement skills should be explored, ranging from locomotor to non locomotor and in all different environments, from the gymnasium to the playground to a swimming pool. Allow students to explore their bodies in many environments and discover the amazing things they can do!
Here they will also discover things such as friendship, leadership, success, and perseverance!
